Orang Utan and Nepenthes Rajah

One of nature"s most spectacular treasures, the Rajah"s Pitcher plant (Nepenthes rajah) is unique to the mountains forests of Mount Kinabalu Sabah Malaysia Borneo. Many thanks to D.C.L.Chan for the wonderful postcards stamps and lovely handwriting!.

The Orang-utan Rehabilitation Centre at Sepilok, Sabah was started in 1964 to rehabilitate orang-utans which have been confiscated or displaced It is located at the edge of the Sepilok Forest Reserve (area: 43 sq.km) and consists of largely undisturbed lowland dipterocarp forest-an ideal habitat for the orang-utans.
