Borneo-Sabah




The primary Rainforest of Borneo-Danum Valley. The Danum Valley Conservation area, a primary rainforest jungle is Sabah"s largest protected lowland forest. Renowned for its rich variety of both plants and wildlife, Borneo"s mammals include such extremely rare and endangered species as the Sumatran Rhino, Asia Elephant, Clouded Leopard, Bornean Gibbon, Orang Utan and Leaf Monkey. Bird life is equally extensive and varied with over 275 individual species having been recorded, giving Danum Valley a repulation for being one of the best places for viewing Borneo"s wildlife.

2 Maliau Basin. Low, hardy vegetation clothes river banks that prone to frequent flooding beautiful waterfall.
