On this living historical farm, museum presenters in period clothing re-creat the daily life of a farm family in the 1880s. The Firestones raised sheep, with wool being their "cash crop" but they also harvested wheat, oats, hay and corn. Industrialist Harvey Firestone, who later became famous in the tire business, was born in this house in 1868. The farmhouse and barn were originally built in Columbiana Country, Ohio around 1828 and were moved to Greenfield Village in 1985.
